Howdy, campers! You’re invited to participate in the fifth annual Camp Poncey-Hi, a summer camp themed series of events for residents of all ages in Atlanta’s most fun and adventurous neighborhood, Poncey-Highland!
Camp Poncey-Hi offers something for everyone: fun and games for families, boozy parties for grown-ups and educational events for anyone who likes to learn. Some events are free, while others serve as fundraisers for the PHNA. Tickets will go on sale the week of July 21!

Happy Camper Cocktail Party
Kick off Camp Poncey-Hi with a toast to our neighborhood! Join your fellow happy campers on the rooftop of the historic Hotel Clermont for a sunset hangout filled with drinks, good tunes, and even better company. Enjoy a welcome glass of brut or an ice-cold beer as you take in unbeatable skyline views and swap summer stories under the evening sky.

Poncey Play Day
Calling all neighborhood whippersnappers! Join us for a free, old-school Day of Play packed with friendly street vs. street showdowns. Sack races, tug-o-war, limbo, and other gloriously ridiculous games await — with complimentary popsicles to keep our campers cool. Kids of all ages are welcome!
Parents — we need you!
Channel your inner camp counselor and help run the stations. It’s low-stress, high-fun, and guaranteed to earn you street cred (and probably a popsicle too).

Drag Queen Brunch at El Ponce
Join us for a fabulously fun Drag Lotería Brunch at El Ponce!
Sip, snack, and shout “¡Lotería!” as the fierce Ellasaurus Rex and Sofía Eme light up the stage with dazzling drag performances, while we play a cheeky round (or two!) of Millennial Lotería hosted by your favorite queens. (Lotería is a Mexican version of bingo) Enjoy our delicious Mexican brunch menu, beats by a live DJ, and plenty of prizes to keep things spicy.
Brunch starts at noon, games at 12:30 & show kicks off at 1PM — don’t miss it!

Revenge of the Nerds Viewing & Frat Party
Calling all Tri Lams, Alpha Betas, Omega Mus & Pi Delta Pis! Massive Frat Party on 8/15!!
Come dressed as jocks and nerds circa 1984 and get ready for a night of unhinged, debaucherous fun! Rumor is there will be a Keg and unlimited jello shots- keg stands encouraged. Movie starts at 9pm, doors open at 7:30 for pre game. Bring your pocket protector, cropped mesh football jerseys and game face if you're ready to dominate beer pong, flip cups, quarters and more. Get ready for a night to remember (or maybe not).

Poncey-Highland Wine After Dark @ Elemental Spirits Co.
Our neighborhood’s favorite bottle shop will open after hours to pour us some of their favorite everyday wines mixed in with a few extra special selections. Led by Isuru and Steph, buyers at Elemental, you'll get 4 wines, a welcome spritz, a little education and a lot of social time in a casual setting. Light pairing snacks will be provided. This one’s bound to sell out quickly, so grab your spot today!

It’s good vibes only at our Endless Summer Luau! Leave your worries behind as you sip on tropical tiki drinks and munch on island-inspired Pupu Platters under the stars. Dress in your favorite Hawaiian shirt or coconut bra, grab your flip-flops, and bring your aloha spirit! We’ll also being lei-ing the fun on thick with beach games and nostalgic cinema. It'll be a little slice of paradise right in our backyard!

Camp Poncey-Hi Jamboree & Color War Parade
Camp Poncey-Hi wraps up in classic style with our biggest event of the season — the Jamboree Block Party!
This non-stop neighborhood celebration features live music by talented neighbors, athletic games for kids hosted by ContactPoint, tasty treats, refreshing beverages and limited edition Poncey-Highland merch for sale.
And this year, we’re cranking up the excitement with an epic Color War Parade!
New this year! Color War Parade
The parade kicks off at 2PM at the corner of Linwood Ave. & North Ave. and travels up Linwood to Cleburne Terrace, where the block party fun begins.
This year, we’re thrilled to welcome the Krewe of Optical Delusions as our parade headliner! They will lead the parade in their signature mesmerizing black and white. But the real magic happens when the rest of the neighborhood joins in!
Each street will be assigned a color, and we want to see YOU wear it loud and proud!
Bring your boldest, brightest energy: 🎨 Make signs and banners 🎷 Play an instrument 🎉 Show off your street color by rocking a costume, wig, feather boa, face paint, or any crazy accessory you can dream up. Decorate your bikes, scooters, wagons, golf carts — anything that rolls! The bolder, louder, and more over-the-top, the better!
This is a celebration of community, color, and a little friendly street rivalry — so gather your crew, get your colors ready, and let’s make this the most unforgettable Camp Poncey-Hi Parade yet!
