PoHi Holiday Lights Showdown 2024 

Calling all Clark Griswolds! We’re searching for the most festive outdoor light and decor displays in Poncey-Highland. From traditional to tacky, elegant to the over-the-top, a panel of judges and neighbors will decide which homes are the best and brightest. All types of homes and decor styles are welcome, and you don’t need an elaborate display to participate and win! Be sure to rally your nextdoor neighbors to register because we’ll also recognize the Brightest Block with extra special prizes! 

Neighbors will have a chance to vote online for the Neighbor’s Choice Award on 12.20. The link to vote will be shared via email. Sign up by Dec. 9 here.

Participation Rules 

Sign up by December 9. 

Outdoor displays must be completed by sundown on December 17. 

Winners will be announced on December 20 at Sweet Auburn, 7-9PM. 

A small panel of judges will select winners in several categories. Neighbors will have a chance to vote online for the Neighbor's Choice Award. This voting link will be shared via email. You do not need to be present at the 12.20 Tour of Lights or party to win. Please note, the Neighbor's Choice Award winner is eligible to compete and win in other categories but cannot receive the Neighbor's Choice Award two years in a row.

All participating homes may volunteer to set up Treat Stations during the Tour of Lights on December 20 from 5:30PM-7:00PM. Treat stations can include sweet or savory snacks and/or beverages. Selection and quantity is up to you! 

Please note, all participating home addresses will be shared on a public map. Participating homes may be photographed and shared on social media, email and/or the PHNA website. By signing up you give the PHNA permission to share your address and images of the exterior of your home. 

Walking Tour of Lights & Celebration at Sweet Auburn 12.20! 

All neighbors are invited to walk Poncey-Highland admiring the decor displays at participating homes Friday, December 20 from 5:30P- 7:00PM. To keep our bellies extra jolly, some homes will serve up treats on their front porches and driveways. The Tour of Lights ends with a family-friendly celebration at Sweet Auburn from 7:00PM- 9:00PM where we’ll announce the winners. Food and drinks available for purchase.
